The Porters | Family Session | Birmingham, AL

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Every session with a family I have photographed before always feels like a small family reunion. The session begins with catching up and commenting on just how much the kids have grown since the last time we were together. I love getting to find out what the kids are loving now that they’re older. I am always blown away with all the changes that have happened. Life really does go by so fast and I don’t take it lightly that I get to be the one who pushes the pause button to snap each and every detail.

The Porters were no different. We picked a familiar spot to photograph this time but with plenty of options for different backdrops so that their images wouldn’t look the same as years’ past. Here’s a peek at some of my favorites from their session at Heardmont Park in Birmingham. This family is adorable, and the girls were just so cute together!
