Ariah and River kept me smiling their whole session.

Many of the girls I photographed have big plans and goals. They LOVE the game. They not only play for their local city team, but they work hard to get on the all star team that allows them to possibly compete at a national level even at such a young age. Ariah has been on an elite team from her state for multiple years and is also currently on a travel team. She means business when she steps up to the plate. You’ll probably even catch her hitting a homer. Don’t think for a minute there is anything “soft” about softball.

Her sister, River, obviously loves playing, too. She had THE best expressions and I’m just so glad I could capture them in front of my camera. You must scroll to see her “tough” face. Don’t miss their interaction with each other, either. It’s priceless and full of laughs.
